Questions
Do I need an account?
No. You can start logging right away and the diary stays on your phone. An account is needed when you want to share the diary — your entries move to it.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Every entry is saved on the phone first and is sent when there is a network again.
Is there an app for Android and iPhone?
Lalu runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Add it to the home screen and it opens like any other app. Apps in the stores are planned.
Does Lalu give medical advice?
No. Lalu is not a medical device: it does not make diagnoses, calculate doses or interpret your entries. If you are worried about your child, contact a doctor.
Is Lalu a baby monitor?
No. Lalu is a care diary: it keeps what you and the other caregivers write down. It does not listen to or watch your baby.
What happens to our diary if we stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. The owner keeps adding entries, and everyone in the family can still read and export the whole history for free.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. The CSV export of the whole history is free in every plan, and deleting your account sends you a copy first.
Which languages does Lalu speak?
English and Polish, with metric or imperial units.
